Edge of Heaven by P.G Forte

Warning: this book is not for the biased mind.
Okay now that the warning is out of the way, let’s discuss this book. I started reading this book in 2010 but due to my schedule I was more focused with my own book that I didn’t have time to focus on another person’s book. But once I did have the time, it didn’t take me but one day to read it…Yeah, it was that good.
Not many books catch my attention to the point where I want to keep reading until it’s finished. A good book to me is one that is different than the many books that are already out. I mean really, who want to read the same story over and over again. It’s like hearing your friend talk about something, going around your family and hearing their side of the same story and then going to the store and hearing strangers talk about the same thing….It soon gets old. But this story was different. It was well plotted and the narration keeps you wondering what is going on? What’s going to happen next?
So why did I say it’s not for the biased mind? Well, if you like the many others who feel they have to relate to a book to really enjoy reading, this book is not for you. Since this story is about life after death and about same sex relations, you have to go outside your way of thinking. If you can do that, then you can enjoy this book also.

"We Belong Together", Barbara Grovner

I adore writing novels but every now and then, I like to take time out to catch up on my reading. It helps to unwind your mind from the world of the characters in your writings. (Reading other novels can also help relieve that stressful thing called “writer’s block”.)

My book shelf is jam-packed with interesting novels raging from self-help to young adult fiction, and even the first stages of reading (of course my children have to have their collection too). One of the novels I am currently reading, We Belong Together, is not yet on the shelf but the e-book is downloaded on to my computer. (The e-book was less than $5. I didn’t have to wait for it to be mailed. Within seconds after purchasing a copy, the e-book was ready for download and available to be read without the help of any kindle tool.) I must say, starting from the first few pages, this mystery novel has caught my attention. I love the way the author, Barbara Grovner, has the narration written. And I can’t wait to deeper into the story.
